Craft Hacks: Spray Paint Flower Art
I love having flowers around the house, brightening the room. I love being surrounded by colours — if you know me, you know how much I love wearing colourful outfits!
It’s so sad when the flowers die and you can’t do anything but throw them away. So, I looked around for a way to use them a bit differently than just put them in a vase. And I wanted to share them without you! Here’s a hack on how to do flower art!
Spray Paint Flower Art
You don’t have to do this just with flowers, it could be leaves or branches that you find in the parks too! Just make sure to do it outside or in a very well-ventilated room.
You will need:
-A canvas or a thick paper
-A spray paint canister
-Flowers, branches or whatever you’d like
-Place your canvas on a flat surface (I recommend putting some old sheets under it, so you won’t spray paint your floor/garden).
-Now, the best part is to arrange your flowers and/or leaves on the canvas as you like. Take your time to do this, be delicate and make sure you’re happy with the result.
-Use the spray paint to spray over them. Try to do it from over the canvas, without changing the angle. Also, don’t be tempted to do many coats, as the flowers will move quite easily and can change position
-Let it dry for a few minutes.
-When removing the flowers, you should be left with a white canvas showing the layout of your arrangement!
You can hang your finished canvas wherever you’d like in your home, gift it or frame your paper!
Hope you will have fun with this!
Lots of love,
