We want to wish you a happy merry old Christmas and a jolly New Year, and as a little present we wanted to share with you a Christmas recipe, our vegan Ginger Biscuits. Try making them with your friends and family, they are easy and fun to make - perfect to enjoy with your loved ones or given as a little gift. Ingredients: Makes approx.15 regular-sized ginger bread men
2 1/4 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
3/4 cup melted vegan margarine
1/4 cup golden syrup
Method: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius
Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix them together
Then add the melted margarine and golden syrup and mix until combined into a ball of dough
Roll the dough out onto a floured surface, then take your cookie cutters to make your gingerbread men into the right shape.
Place the gingerbread men on to the baking trays (use some baking paper) and bake for 15/20 minutes until lightly browned.
