Here is a super simple recipe to make the perfect party food, a delicious picnic addition AND a quick and easy lunch for every day. And the best part is, it’s just one recipe!
As usual, I like to share with you simple, yummy recipes everyone can make. When I was shooting this recipe, the weather wasn’t that nice and it was weird to think of afternoon in the park eating these delicious tartlets. But now, the sun’s out again and we can all enjoy the summer with yummy vegan food!
All the ingredients are customisable to your preferences, of course!
-Vegan strong cheese
-Jus-Rol puff pastry
-Chives or parsley
Take the puff pastry at least an hour before you start, or put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds before you start cooking;
Dust your surface with some flour. Place as much of the puff pastry block that you need, depending on how many tartlets you’re making (you can freeze the rest!);
Roll the pastry until you get a sheet of about 1cm thickness;
Cut the puff pastry into smaller pieces. I used a little tray, but you can also use a cookie cutter or a large glass;
In a bowl or glass, mix some olive oil and a tiny bit of mustard. Using a brush, place some of it on top of your puff pastry;
Cut your tomato in half and gently press them into the puff pastry;
Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top, add some more olive oil if you’d like and grate the cheese on top too;
Place the tartlets on a tray and cook them in the oven for 5-10 minutes at 180degrees;
Add the fresh chives or parsley for the final touch!
Go ahead and make them and let me know your thoughts! Hope you will love them!
